We've all had one at least once in our lives. Maybe he leaves his dishes in the sink until the entire kitchen looks like a scene from Lord of the Flies. Or maybe she invites her boyfriend over to spend 'a couple nights' and 6 months later you're still stepping over his boxers every time you make your way to the shower.
Any tried and true tactics for informing that bothersome roomy that enough is enough?

One of my last roommates had a serious problem with personal hygiene - me and the other roommate could never figure out a tactful way to tell him he kind of smelled. Luckily he graduated and moved out within 6 months of me moving in so we never had to cross that smelly bridge.
